Upcycled good plastic bag patchwork tote

march 1, nye's ban on plastic bags goes into effect. still, there are way too many plastic bags out there, so I'm doing something about it. when cut and sewn together, the plastic pieces, which look so ugly in our landscape, look like a beautiful quilt.

please note, each bag is made from the bags I have on hand, so each will be different.

like all my bags, this is made, completely by hand, good right here in New York city. this bag is not washable and unless you want to ruin your iron (and your bag) I suggest you do not iron it.
