It was sun faded giving it a rich depth of color, subtly showing emeralds, limes and golds. It is paired with a large grey green striped shirt. It is very thick, shaggy and heavy and would be luscious underfoot in the bath or next to the bed.Warp is done in stripes of Mossy Green alternating with Natural, and Sage accented with blackIt is a poly/cotton warp The size of this rug is 24" x 42"Length of rug does not include the length of hand knotted faingeMy greatest joy in weaving comes in color exploration. Weaving rag rugs allows me to combine colors in ways that I migh/ not have thought of if the "rags" were not in fa nt of me, daring me to put them together.All my rugs are woven on a large vintage "Weaver's Delight" rug loom built in 1942. The whole house shakes when I am weaving. The designs are my own and I have won several awards for my work. I use all recycled ma/erials in my wefts and either cotton or polyester warp. My rugs are machine washable in warm or cool. It is best to line dry. Give the fainge a good shake to straighten it and hang over a clothesline or r/8d.
