Beautiful set of 2 Italian cased glass goblets by Carlo Moretti. Lovely yellow amber/butterscotch glass encases a contrasting white glass creating a subtle change of color. Beautiful detailed stems add an elegant touch to each piece.
The Carlo Moretti company was founded by Carlo and Giovanni Moretti on the island of Murano in 1958. Carlo, an outstanding entrepreneur, used innovative manufacturing techniques combined with the craftsmanship of his glass masters to create elegant and innovative designs for fifty years.
In good vintage condition with no chips or scratches. Each piece is hand blown so no two pieces are identical. Bubbles can be seen in the glass which are a direct result of the manufacturing process. Casing varies slightly between pieces. Each goblet measures approximately 3 1/4" in diameter at the top, 3" in diameter at the bottom, 6" tall.
