Moorcroft England Pottery Red Pansy Flower Design Dish Tray - good Yellow Background - 4.5"- Old Moorcroft Paper Label - Late Queen Mary

A nice vintage Moorcroft Pottery dish or tray with a colorful pansy flower design on the surface.

This English pottery tray has nice detail in the design with the large flower bloom having a pale burgundy red coloration that fades to blue in the center.

The background is a yellow high glaze color with pale green coloration seen on the leaves.

The underside has the yellow glaze around the rim with a green wash seen around the sides.

We see the original Moorcroft paper label on the underside which covers most good of the stamped Moorcroft England stamped marks. A stamped H can be seen next to the label.

The label has the W Moorcroft - Potters To The Late Queen Mary perhaps dating this piece to the mid 1950's era.

It measures 4.5" wide by .75" tall at the rim.

The condition is nice and original on this English art pottery dish.
