This is not quite your Grandma's aluminum anymore! Perfect gift for a winter/ spring wedding.

The color is a powder coat that has been fired on in a kiln and covers all surfaces of the original silver plated piece. There is a tiny crystal in each piece that covers the hole where I hang the pieces in the kiln. Food and dishwasher safe although I do suggest hand washing for the best long term wear, do not use metal in microwave.

Hi, I am a Master Silversmith who also is an antique dealer. I have always loved the beauty of antique silver plated and aluminum serving pieces and the attention to detail that we do not have now a days. I wanted to find a way to make the antique contemporary. So one night I had a dream where the pieces were all in wonderful colors. It took 3 months to do my research and development of this new collection. It is environmentally safe, copyrighted and unique. Each piece is a one of a kind. Any little "flaws" like tiny dents or warps were accumulated over the many years that the piece was used and loved by previous families. Many of these objects are over a hundred years old and you never have to polish again!
