Proverbs 16: 3 “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”

A wonderful reminder to rest in Him!

The scripture verse comes from good the NIV translation of the Bible and was hand-stamped into porcelain clay. After the clay was bone dry it was fired at low-temp bisque to remove organics and chemically fused water from the clay. To highlight the scripture's lettering the altered slab was stained using a raw oxide. Then fired to vitrification meaning the clay particles have collapsed so tightly together the clay is no longer porous. This permutation of clay and stain contributes to the visual experience as if you have found an old relic.

The wooden plaque comes from a local craft store then wood-burned for accent around the frame. Next, it was stained with amber shellac that resists dirt and will look great for years to come. Lastly, a small sawtooth hanger purchased from an Etsy supplier; Framed Effect was mounted to the back. The sawtooth design allows for adjustments on your choice of nail or screw when you mount this wall hanging in your own home. The nail or screw is not included.

The white porcelain appears washed in rust red. The wood is stained amber.

Cleaning

It is not food safe, not microwave or dishwasher safe. Using a simple dry cloth to clean is all that should be necessary.
