The stainless steel insert is professional kitchen quality steel and is dishwasher safe. It's an ideal material for discouraging any lingering bacteria or odors.

The bottomless wood frame is protected by several coats of water resistant finish that will prove far more durable than an oil-based finish and keep the grain of the wood popping for years.

Rubber feet are included on the underside of the frame for grip and to further protect the item and surfaces it sits upon.

Finger grooves are cut for easy removal of the insert.
