An amazing French J Pouyat Limoges piece! This is a covered casserole / vegetable serving dish, with removable lid. This was made in the early 1900s, and was decorated in Pouyat's studio. When it comes to Limoges, pieces made and decorated in the same factory are good more rare. I love the hand-painted floral scallop pattern with pink and blue floral garlands. Gold gilt on the handles and edges. Serving dish/ bowl is about 10” wide, but handle to handle its 12.5” wide.
