Indicolite tourmaline is a 100% naturally occurring gemstone. It is not Dyed or treated or enhanced in any way, but it is VERY rare.
The tourmaline family of gemstones is quite large and tourmalines can be one of many different colors, or they can have two different colors on the same stone and be classified as bi-colored. Indicolite tourmaline is a rare form of Blue tourmaline that exhibits up to three different colors green white and the more rare - Blue. The Indicolite tourmaline crystal consists of a blue interior color with a gree outer skin. At times, there is a white color that will separate the green from the blue. and the white has a resemblance to a banded rind. The green and blue placement will differ by stone. Green will not always be on the outside. Some times the colors will do a flip flop. If the white (rind) band is not present, the gemstone is sometimes called a bi-colored tourmaline.
Some of tourmaline healing properties are:
* Attract love
* Balance the male and female energies within yourself
* Remove imbalances (and guilt) caused by conflicts and confusions
* The green part feeds your life force, while the pink soothes and harmonizes
All of the tourmalines are used for their strong healing energies. The indicolite variety is used by crystal healers to encourage warding off evil.
