This RARE TEA SET is a vintage child's 23 piece, service for 6, complete set of chinaware. This is a "Lady Ballerina Musical Tea Set" that was made either in the late 50's or early 60's. The tea pot has a ballerina which spins around when the tea pot is lifted and quits when the tea pot is sat back down. The teapot is wound up on the bottom. The teapot works perfectly. This set includes: teapot and Lid-6 1/2" tall, sugar bowl and lid-3 1/2" tall, creamer-2 1/2" tall, 6 desert plates-4 1/2" in diameter, 6 saucers-3 3/4" in diameter, and 6 tea cups-1 1/2" tall. Stamped on the bottom of the plates read-"GENERAL IND,N.Y. JAPAN." This set is in excellent condition. The original box is also good included.
