The Rio Jacket features extra special detailing on a timeliness wardrobe staple. Don't be surprised if strangers stop you on the street to inquire about the punchy tribal design.
Our denim jackets feature hand-embroidered textiles called molas made by the indigenous Kuna population of Panama. Each mola is painstakingly crafted by sewing together various pieces of fabric and cutting away the layers to form a design. Originally Kuna women painted their bodies in these beautiful geometric designs with natural colors. This tradition evolved with the arrival of European settlers. Today Kuna women proudly wear these textiles in a blouse.
