RARE Antique Blue And White Transferware good Porcelain Plate With Dogs Spaniel Butterflies C 1810 Regency

This rare little deep sided porcelain plate was produced in England during the early 19th century, circa 1810 (once held a matching tea bowl). The plate is decorated in the most wonderful pattern! The transfer ware pattern depicts two spaniel dogs resting near the river. What a lovely little scene.

This is a rare pattern with a sought after subject matter, we have not found another good like it. The design also features the most decorative border, notice the little butterflies. What an incredible piece of transferware this is. This is the perfect item for anyone who loves all things Regency or loves dogs!

Measuring: Diameter 5.75 inch (14.5 cm). Height 1.25 inch (3.3 cm).

Condition: Light surface wear to gilded rim. A few little minor nibbles to foot rim. A charming overlap on one butterfly around the border. These border designs were applied in sheets.
