This small statuette of a great horned owl
is my version of an Art Deco style with a
geometric design and an abstract owl
form.

The little owl sculpture is a solid casting
in resin and powdered stone called bonded
stone. The colors are mixed right into the
resin, not painted on afterwards. That allows
me to sand and good polish the surface during the
finishing process without the colors
disappearing.

It stands a little over 8 inches tall and weighs
close to 3 lbs. Black felt covers the bottom of
this sculpture.

Makes a great gift for a nature and owl lover.
