good A wonderful large colander, made by hand from clay and then glazed in a dark brown. Very wide opening with thick rim at the end. In one place a "nose" was worked out. This makes it easier to hold the heavy piece.
Extensive traces of long use can be seen. Abrasion, scratches, stains, imperfections, old cracks. A repair spot patched with the help of a wire pulled through the wall (see photo). This work used to be done by the so-called "wire binders".
Dimensions total width 11,4" x 2,4" / weight 1,98lbs.
