At good the beginning of my artistic activity one morning I went to a "workshop shop" of ceramics and terracotta which is located about 4 km from my home. I saw many interesting objects but what fascinated me most was the series of tiles ready there for me to give them the soul through my creativity and my brushes. Back home I started thinking about the subjects to be painted. I thought I was following a common thread in the subjects and in the color. A few days later in a DIY store I saw a wooden frame, made to create a triptych of tiles. Here! The idea of the triptych with my beautiful tiles overwhelmed me. I bought the frame and... you can see the result in the photos.
The triptych consists of three 10x10 terracotta tiles surmounted by a beautiful light wood frame. Its colors and the subjects represented make it a cheerful object and that well represents the Sicilianity that must not be missing in every Sicilian home and in those of those who love the Sicilian style; to hang on the wall of a rustic environment but also in a simple and modern kitchen or... why not? even in the living room. Inevitable souvenir for the tourist who loves Sicily in all its forms, especially the artistic one. The triptych is hand-painted with the technique of acrylic colors and finished with a brushstroke of final paint that in addition to giving shine to the design protects it from the signs of time.
