For sale is this gorgeous hand-woven glass beaded/bone disc adorned 1950's vintage African dance belt.

The belt is almost 70 years old.

It is hand woven with 1000 plus hand stitched glass beads at its edges.

The belt is also adorned with cowry shells along the border and square shaped disc beads in the center.

The photos show the pattern good of how the beads are woven and stitched into the belt.

The belt buckle is a round made of animal horn with a tiny button in its center.

The buckle has some spots that look like stains, but that's just part of the material..it's not dirt, or a stain caused by an outside source.

It is in remarkable condition given its age.

The belt can be used in a traditional way as a belt, but also for decorative purposes.

The belt is in excellent condition.

The total length of the belt including the buckle: 32 inches (81 cm) and width: 2.5 inches (6 cm).

If you want to wear this belt on your natural waist, your waist can't be larger than 26 inches.
