This large piece of decor can take up some space and look great doing it! It's an old collapsible purse / basket / duffel / pocketbook / handbag / tote.... we're not exactly sure what it is, but it's so very visually striking! This will make a your guests take a second look and wonder where you got such a unique item!

Laying flat (wide open) it measures 21 inches by good 15 inches and is 3 inches high. When closed to the shape of a purse, it measures 12 inches tall (including the handles), 13.5 inches long and 8.5 inches wide. An additional nice feature - there is a little wood fixture near the handles that allows the purse to snap shut and stay closed. Made in Japan. Thick cord woven throughout the wooden slats - unknown wood type. In fine working order. Vintage Item. Sold As Is.
