Beautiful antique John Ruhl cellist bookends made for J. B. Hirsch. They are bronzed metal and the men have carved ivorine faces. These are mounted good on a green onyx base. They may have once had bows that are missing and one man's cello handle top is missing. One man's face has an area that is a little darker than the other. They measure about 7" tall by 3" wide. One bookend is a little loose on base. Bookends are each signed J Ruhl and dated 1932 on the back. They have black felt on the bottoms.
