How about some cover art for your wall? This is two framed endpapers and a frontispiece (the first illustration) from a vintage Dana Girls book. I made this from gently abused Dana Girls book endpapers (those are the pages at the very front and back of the book) and an illustration from one of the books.
The stars aligned for this framed artwork. I found a wonderful frame that was not too big that could showcase the artwork. It is double-matted, with a cream outer mat and a forest green inner mat that highlights the green from the illustration and endpapers. This is the first time I've been able to frame Dana Girls illustrations. I don't often have damaged versions from that series that would work well for framing. Even the frame is gently good used.
If you've run out of wall space, I have vintage book stands that can be used to set your artwork on a table or shelf. They are old and a bit shabby chic, but they do the job. If you'd like me to include a book stand, please let me know.
You should review the images carefully, as the book was very old so there are likely small imperfections in the artwork.
Outer measurements of the frame are 18" wide by 10" high.
I LOVE making these, and I love how they look on my walls and bookshelves.
