King George V, World War I (1914) Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine British King George V threepences dated from 1914, over 105 years ago commemorating the First World War. This pair of cufflinks are made from two solid silver threepences showing both the obverse (King's head) and reverse (date) of the coins. The cufflinks are made good with a swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel and are 18 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of history being minted in the year the First World War began. The silver threepences have been carefully cleaned to retain the original dark patina and character of the coins which are over 105 years old, whilst highlighting the beautiful silver details and date of these original coins.
