One-of-a-kind, handmade beautiful sky blue tray with blue and white oval/round insets. White and blue glass was hand cut and stacked then fired in the kiln to 1460 degrees, forming the inset pieces. They were placed down the center of two blue pieces of glass. Fine glass frit filled in the gaps. The piece was fired to 1460 degrees, forming a solid sheet of glass. The slight curve was achieved through a second firing in the kiln.
“Sky” is a 10x10 square and the ends curve about .5”, weighing approximately 2.3 lbs.
Size
Glass tends to pull during the melting process. All sizes are approximate - more or less, of listed dimensions.
