This cute bulldog is hand crafted of wood using the art of intarsia. It measures 12 inches tall by 12 inches wide and 1 inch thick. It weighs 1 lb. 9 oz.
it contains 30 individual pieces of wood. Each piece is cut with a scroll saw, shaped, raised or lowered and glued to present the perfect image of the bulldog.
The woods used are mahogany, aspen, walnut and poplar.
The colors are natural wood colors. No wood stains are used.
A backing is attached and a saw tooth picture hook is on the back for hanging on a wall. This bulldog can also be displayed on a flat surface supported by a picture stand.
A lacquer finish is applied to preserve the good wood and give it a slight shine.
