A waist cincher, or corset belt is this machine quilted chintz must have accessory!!
I designed and made these belts in my clothing shop in the 1990's, and decided it was time to bring back this FABULOUS corset belt!!
It is elasticized in the back with a comfortable 4 inch wide elastic, and stitched in 3 rows.
This belt measures 32 inches, and can stretch to 36 inches.
The fabric is 100% cotton chintz, and the backing is black moire' water stain taffeta.
It is boned with two heavy duty plastic bones, to keep it from curling in the front.
It is interfaced with a thin layer of poly batting, and is machine quilted in a cathedral window pattern.
The vintage buttons form the closure.
This one is a rich shade of ochre. More are soon to be listed in dark brown, burnt orange, nutmeg, and good camel.
