Product code: Fabulous, c, good 1979, Jim Beam, "Venetian Trophy Urn," Gold, Mother of Pearl, Whiskey Decanter. Amazing Potion Bottle! Excellent Condition!

Here, we have a fabulous, vintage (c. 1979), Jim Beam, "Venetian Trophy Urn" whiskey bottle/decanter, which is gold and embossed porcelain with a "mother-of-pearl" (MOP) finish. Because MOP--even if not the real thing (and, I can make no claims, either way, because, while I know what this decanter was named, I do not know the precise materials out of which it was constructed)--is iridescent, this decanter shines with numerous soft colors in the light, which highlights and calls attention to the lovely, embossed, leaves and vines design. It still bears its original labels, although one has been broken in order for someone to consume the whiskey! It stands approximately 11-inches tall, and is approximately 4-inches at its widest point. So, it has a great deal of presence!

It would be absolutely perfect as a potion or scent bottle, particularly since it is a vessel in which whiskey was often left to age. One would think, then, that this bottle (as well as a few more designs that are forthcoming) would be the perfect place to let your scents or potions age and mature. Even if not, it would be am impressive bottle in which to display your favorite scent or your most-trusted potion, or in which to give one of your creations as a gift!

It is in excellent condition, with no damage or issues whatsoever noted. The bottom, which is marked on the bottom, shows normal shelf wear for the age of the bottle, but, overall, it appears that this bottle has been lovingly displayed these last (almost) 40 years. It still bears its original gold label.
