Mens brown polyester suit with good wide lapels, vintage polyester leisure suit, approx size 42 jacket, 40 waist
Vintage brown polyester leisure suit, with those nice wide lapels that you're looking for.
Fabric content 100% polyester, and the suit was made in the USA.
Jacket is half lined with one vent in the back.
Two buttons in the front, with three at each sleeve.
Pants are flat front with "action waist" elastic.
There is a small hole in the lining at the bottom of the jacket, but it doesn't show when the suit is worn. Apart from that, the suit appears to be in very good condition. I did some spot cleaning, but everything came out easily (thank you polyester!) so if any spots were somehow missed, I'm confident that they will come clean with a wet wash rag.
The shirt shown with the jacket is NOT included. Sorry. There was no branding, and no sizing tags on either the jacket or good the pants. Please use the measurements below to determine fit by measuring a similar garment that fits you well and comparing the numbers to those below. The garment was measured while lying flat.

Chest measured armpit to armpit:22" / 56 cm (consistent with a size 42 jacket)
Waist measured at top button: 20.5" / 52 cm
Shoulders: 18" / 46 cm
Sleeve measured from shoulder seam: 25" / 65 cm
Length at back: 31" / 79 cm

Waist: 20" / 51 cm - no wiggle room on this measurement.
Inseam: 29" / 73 cm.
Out seam measured to top of waistband: 40.5" / 103 cm
Front rise: 12" / 30 cm
Back rise: 17.5" / 44 cm
Width of leg at hem: 10" / 25 cm
The suit has not been dry-cleaned or laundered. I didn't want to add dry cleaning costs if you are only going to wear it for one night. You can choose to dry clean or no. The garment has been stored in a pet-free / smoke free home since it came to me.
