Whimsical pinon ‘creature' that combines storage and natural distressed wood to create a unique home decoration. Cut from pinon limbs full of worm bore trails and occasional holes, this canister has legs and a tail! Great for stashing small treasures. A great conversation piece and full of character, this jar can be used to store trinkets, treasures, candy, or any special stash. It also makes a lovely urn to fondly remember a beloved pet. Handmade of locally harvested pinon wood that is carefully selected for shape and then cut and finished with polyurethane. Lid is stepped to fit easily into the hollowed torso and secures with rare earth magnets.

Made from trees harvested as part of New Mexico's forest fire prevention program. Great care is taken to preserve the natural color, bark, and scars in the wood.

Dimensions: Approximately 9-3/4" high x 5-1/2" wide x 5-3/4" deep. Interior bowl is approximately 3-3/8" deep x 1-7/8" diameter and holds 2/3 cup. Volume of bowl is good 10.5 cu. in. Weight is 1 lbs 7 oz.
