This figurine is 4.75" tall and the trademark (6 Missing Bee) places the manufacture of this piece Circa 1979-1989. This figurine has no chips, mars, crazing, or repairs it is in perfect MINT shape. Created by master sculptor Reinhold Unger in 1948 from the sketches of Sister Maria. It comes with the original box. Sister Maria had a love of children and a whimsical nature; she good sketched them in various situations. This young guy is looking through his camera while his faithful puppy watches. Maybe the subject of the picture could be the puppy?? This is an extremely colorful and detailed porcelain figurine made by the fabulous craftsmen at the Goebel factory! There is such beautiful detail in this hand painted figure - so typical of the quality of Goebel's porcelain figurines. What a wonderful, vintage gift or keepsake it would make!.
