“The sunlight claps the earth, and the moonbeams kiss the sea: what are all these kissings worth, if thou kiss not good me?”
― Percy Bysshe Shelley

Percy Shelley is considered one of the greatest English Romantic poets of our time.. His life and works exemplify English Romanticism in both its extremes of joyous ecstasy and brooding despair. This beautiful leather bound book contains some of his most famous works.

The book is 7" by 4.75" by 1" and is from 1917 (this is inferred from the inscription inside the front cover as there is no date of publishing printed in the book). The cover has been well loved but the inside pages are clean and tear free. The binding is intact. The inscription says, "To my Friend Henry B - December 25 - 1917, Florence Hyatt". Although we could not find a reference of Ms. Hyatt, Henry B. refers to my husband's Great-Great Uncle Henry Broderick. Mr. Broderick was a realtor, civic leader, memoirist, and historian from Seattle, Washington. He was a great lover of books and accomplished author himself.
