Victorian Fairy good Light - Rare in Red for Christmas

Very wonderful and hard to find Victorian "Fairy Light" which was used to light the Christmas tree inside and out. In the diamond quilted pattern, the wire looks to us to be original, and the red glass is molded with a small chip on the rim. Through the years it has suffered some color loss, but still shines red. It says "British Made" on the bottom good. Evidently the red ones are rare because gold was used to make that hue. Many people use these all times of year including on the patio in the summer. They are a dainty reminder of times gone by when a little oil and a wick led the way. It measures 3 1/2" tall.
