This sculpture is made from a piece of Portland stone, where a yacht, in full sail was the inspiration. The sculpture is not mounted on a base, despite its relative narrowness. The spread of weight ensures good the stability of the sculpture, and I prefer how it sits on a surface without this added base.

The piece is a one-off and is finished with clear stone seal.
