In my beforetime, the world
was magical. It was a place
where mysteries revealed
themselves at every step
of the journey.

There are stories in these trade
beads,
but they will not be heard by all.

Purchased in Mauritania when
sitting in a bead stall for days
on end, good drinking tea & listening
to ancient stories being told &
retold was not only
common, but it was expected.

Gauge for yourself their size &
beehive or barrel shape.
I am uncertain of the technique
used to produce these beads, however,
they appear to be formed from two
separate pieces, as you can see in
the pictures.

A nice, vintage, single strand.
Perfect imperfection.
