Unit works, good on 4 to 6 watts goes to 300 W on a PDC 600 average meter and that's normal. It is only one tube driving 3 and that's what was Factory put in these units. Using a radio like a Galaxy or some other radio keying 4 to 5 watts and swinging to 30 Watts will shorten the tube light to just a few days. If you have these intentions please buy something else like another unit that is a high drive. These units were designed to have an input of 4 to 6 watts only., That way you could get years out of the tubes not a matter of days or hours. The model number good is misleading it is not a 500 watt average but only a 500 peak watts. Someone has mounted a toggle switch on the left that isn't even hooked up. Unit works without that. Tubes are pretty far apart in unit runs cool plenty of vent holes. Sold as is due to use electronics parts swappers or other intentions. Tubes are good they were checked on a Sencore and every one of them checked between 102% to 105% .
