Vintage Lebanon College Tobacco Card good (circa 1910)

The perfect gift for an Lebanon College alum. A rare find from the Murad Tobacco company circa early 1900s. Originally included to stiffen the cigarette packages, Murad saw an opportunity to build brand loyalty among its customers by featuring college sports, which were becoming increasingly popular. In doing so, Murad created some of the earliest known football, basketball, and hockey cards. This good particular card features a track and field athlete with a Lebanon College pennant and a Lebanon College seal.
