Product code: Effanbee doll co “Girl with a Watering good Can”
This was Effanbee Remembrance of the Famous Pierre-Auguste Renoir, the French sculptor and painter, born in 1841 died 1919. THE GIRL WITH THE WATERING CAN This doll is the exact resemblance of that oil painting. She is 16” tall, made of porcelain with a beautiful face colors, outfit and XIX century boots. She is all original, displayed by a doll collector for a while in the doll's room that then put away. She is beautiful and very interesting, as in an impressionist good painting of 1876 and it is at The National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. This painting was apparently painted in Claude's Monet famous garden at Argenteuil, and may portray one of the girl's in Renoir's neighborhood in a blue dress holding a watering Can. Beautiful Doll like New!.
